Can anyone give me any information on the mediterranean palace. Going B+B me and my partner in our 30's, in April, for a week school holidays im a teacher.
Heard some good but lately bad reports especially on renovation.
Also what is weather like in mid April?

All I can say is don't go in the school holidays its full of childrenIf your budget stretches go for the Sir Anthony where we go,problem is they are closing in April for 7 months for refurbishment.We are going to Cleopatras Palace instead.The refurbishment has been completed I think,it was when we went to the Sir Anthony in July unless they are doing some more.If you want any details of the Med Palace PM me.

i think you will be very happy with the mediterranean palace. i haven't stayed there myself but i visited friends when they were there. the decor of the hotel is beautiful and the entertainment was very good. i would recommend it
also to the forum

It's a good location. Right on the beach and a number of nice bars & clubs within a short walk.

My mum usually has a couple of nights there when she comes over, she absolutley loves it ( or is it just a bit better than staying at my house)

i stayed in the sister hotel to med palace, it's fine in all of the mare nostrum resort, i'd go back there again and i'll stay in the med palace, think the standard rooms are slightly small, i normally upgrade to rooms with pool (large bath) on balcony which is only a little extra. i prefered the pool in the med palace, i stayed there before the refurb even then i'd say it only looked a little tatty and in general still looked far better than a lot of the other hotels.
just over the road is some really nice resturants, and your right on a nice beach.

Have got to when kids are there i'm a teacher and only get school hols, will manage, i'll try to stay as far away from children as i can.
