The 6th and 8th December are public holidays in Tenerife.
Thought it might be an idea to bump this thread to the top to remind people that next Thursday (6th December) IS a Bank Holiday (Constitution day)

Hang on - why is Immaculate Conception not 9 months before Christmas??????????? Seriously, though, that was why Mother's Day was around 26th March, until some idiot changed it. Is nothing sacred? May I also recommend this wine from Mercadona at 80 cents per bottle. (hic)
