There is a small computing type shop next door to the rear entrance of the Shires Bar, on the Apolo Centre in Cristianos that does it. Bottom of the stairs to the church.

hi all and thanks for your replies the phone is a sony ericsson 550i. i unlocked my last phone over the net but i can't find a site that will do this one. i've been to dog and roam today but they are shut for holidays although it did say they were opening this week, so if all else fails i will try them again in a few days!
We have had 3 phones unlocked in Playa San juan....go to the second turning at the market into san juan....2nd turning...drive past the Citroen garage...on the right....just before the church square...there is a phone shop on the right opposite the chemist
He unlocked ours...he is sometimes out of the shop during the day...but he is usualy there in the evenings...
Good Luck...oh he charged us 10 Euros...but who cares when you want a phone unlocking...
As said by Kirsty, the Dog and roam. Nice fella as well. Gave us loads of help with call plans etc

Dog & Roam is also a member on here. I think his username is 'the dog'. I have searched for unlocking codes for the sony ericsson 550i and have drawn a blank. Maybe it's too new.

Where can I get a mobile phone unlocked in the Adeje area of Tenerife? 
Well I never knew that there was sites to unlock phones....I have a sony ericsson coming soon from the uk that needs unlocking...
