Just thought that I would find out where in Tenerife you have been too and how much of the Island you know. With being here for a while, I think we have visited most places on the island, the lovely little villages etc., but there are still places we haven't yet been too. As a tourist or resident to Tenerife where have you been to on the Island? __________________ www.tenerifehomecare.com | | | 10th October 2007, 11:23 | #2 (permalink) | | Banned Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: around the sun Gender: Posts: 3,580 | i can say that i have pretty seen about everything of tenerife, except for a tiny little spot in the north around punta del hidalgo..but that´s about it | | | 10th October 2007, 11:25 | #3 (permalink) | | Super Moderator Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Chayofa (surprisingly) Gender: Posts: 4,295 | Quote: Originally Posted by cinnamon ...except for a tiny little spot in the north around punta del hidalgo.. | You should go - it's fabulous there __________________ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Don't interrupt me when I'm ignoring you!
I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum. I like the 7 deadly sins - it's a good check list! To buy, sell or rent property ... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Its so sad for these people as I am sure they could take time to find the more beautiful side to the Island. There is so much to explore here, so get out there and enjoy it!! One of my favourite places is Guarachico. That is a place I think everyone should go to see and a place you can always go back to. __________________ www.tenerifehomecare.com | | | 10th October 2007, 13:40 | #8 (permalink) | | Cosmic Girl Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: In the sunshine Gender: Posts: 1,439 | Always keen to visit new places.... can you tell me a little about Guarachico, Cathy? It was one of the places that got badly hit by one of Teide's eruptions. When the lava hit the village, it never touched the church and went around it. Most of the lava can still be seen in the sea there. They have made wonderful walkways through this and there are natural swimming areas. The water there is so clear and a lovely colour of turquiose. Its a lovely place just to relax, watch the big waves and take picnics and the fishes in all the little pools are so colourful. It's also very canarian. You really need to see it and take your camera. __________________ www.tenerifehomecare.com | | | | The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to Cathy For This Useful Post: | | 10th October 2007, 13:53 | #10 (permalink) | | Human Being Join Date: May 2006 Location: Los Menores (near Adeje) Gender: Posts: 1,638 | Check out the small restaurante next to the town square. For 6 euro you get a plate of home-cooked meat (I like the carne cabra) and a huge salad with a glass of wine. __________________ The best telefonica can do: To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
