We are moving back to the UK at the beginning of December so are having to sell lots of furniture etc ALL in excellent condition. Will be advertising it all on here soon.

We are also selling our White Citroen Berlingo diesel car/van.

Can anyone please tell us how we go about transferring the vehicle to someone elses name when we find a buyer, as we prefer to do it ourselves if possible?

Why not let a professional do it, someone like Motorworld or The Consultancy ... the buyer of your vehicle will be paying their costs and you will be certain that your responsibilities are properly terminated. Surely it will be worth it for sheer peace of mind?

I thought it was very expensive to do it through a professional, but if the buyer pays part of the cost it is probably better to do it that way.

Your buyer will have to pay tax anyway on the transfer of name ... I don't know exactly what the tax will be, but it should be somewhere around 250 Euros.
