If the volcano, Mount Teide in Tenerife errupted, what would you do?

Just had a thought if Mount Teide erupted what would you do?

I think I would grab the nearest full bottle of vodka and drink the lot in one go!

We have our dingy ( when we get it) ready to go from nr Las Galletas............out into the open sea......now then we have also been reliably informed our exprt who I may add is 15..............that for us the lava will flow in the opposite direction making our dingy.................USELESS..............ho humm

I'd pray that the experts were right, and that it's not a cataclysmic type eruptor, and that it just dribbles ... and not towards me either!

Or maybe adopt a cool pose in anticipation of some future archaeologists discovering my "statuesque" remains amongst the ashes (a la Vesuvius!!!) Maybe a happy thumbs-up pose or something

Having been on Mount St Helens on Spirit Lake and then flown over them on route to Seattle about 1 week before it blew its top (which in geological terms is a fraction of a nanosecond) I figure that my chances of being around a second cataclysmic eruption is billions to one so then your safe as long has I am on the island
