Do I feel a plonker! I just got a call from 922 79 92 82 (I wrote it down from the phone screen) and they said this is xxxxx local radio - sing the missing bit of this song and you could win 100 euros. So like a twit I did (badly) and then had that and 5 minutes of total rubbish played back at me. Why didn't I ring off you ask? Well even though I put the phone down, every time I picked it up again they were still there.
I said a few unladylike words at first, but then it dawned on me the best way to get rid was to ignore them, which eventually worked. Has anyone else experienced this kind of prank call?

Not had that, but when we get unsolicited calls from fax machines I leave the handset by the radio until it gives up. They might as well pay for the call as if we miss the number, we have to pay for the ink and paper
