Just had enquiry for one of my apartments. The people are asking if it is near the Opera House with the bowmen on the top of it. Does anyone know what they mean? I have just Googled the Opera house and there is one in Santa Cruz, but they surely are thinking of somewhere in the south? Thanks.

dont they mean the one at the mare nostrum resort in playa Las Americas ie lord anthony ect but i dont think your apartments are near there david

yes but tenerifes trying to be up market they do put operatic type things i think but not my cup of tea so didnt take much notice of what they were great looking building though david

there is often ballet type shows on etc. and it is the mare nostrum resort pdla, the archers are a focal point of the complex all lit up or( illuminated) if you like

It's called Piramede de Arona and owned by Mare Nostrum Resort, who also own the Lady Shelley boat. The show on at the moment is Esencia de Amour which is an adaptation of the Donizetti opera 'L'elisir d'amore' or Elixir of Love.

At first glance the building looks impressive, but is an architectural nightmare. Seeing as pyramids are traditionally Egyptian or Aztec and it's fronted by a huge row of Roman columns!
