Hello!

I wondered if anyone has an Ikea catalogue that i can borrow? Or if you can pick them up anywhere nearby? I know that they deliver and as i can't drive to get there to pick up a book or to buy things i would like to know if it is possible to order by phone or something? Does anyone have any ideas?

The Ikea catalogue in the Canaries and the Balearics covers the period from the beginning of August every year and is valid for a year, so there should be a new one out.

Generally, they are in short supply for the first month and are available in store with a big label on the front cover saying 'do not remove from the store' ... I'm in the area tomorrow - if I can get you one, I will

The website's crap... only has a map to the store on it. You have to look at the UK website to see the catalogue and not all the products are sold here.

I usually 'forget' to put mine back when I leave the store when a new one comes out

Red Devil

When I was there in February Ikea wouldnt let me order over the phone even though I wanted delivery and I had a catalogue with all reference no.s on - I still had to drive to the store to order even if I was paying for delivery. Not a good system at all and very frustrating. Lets hope they see sense and change it. The cafe is worth going into though

Trust me, you lot have it easy. First time we went to La Laguna store, we had the goods delivered the same night by 7:30 pm, even thought it was a Saturday!

Try asking for that in Glasgow and they would think you'd lost your marbles.

Limited selection/stocks can be a pain, but better than than no Ikea at all.
