I didn´t have time to post anything in details but wanted you to know all may not be as bad as it appears, right now to what I was getting at.
OK you say it was damaged by hot wax, if this had been water it would be a different situation, chances are that trhe wax has solidified and ´welded´the different layers that compose the keyboard.
If you are confident, remove the keyboard how to do this will depend on your laptop, then turn the keyboard over and chances are there willñ be a number of small screws holding it together, remove these carefully, then gently take apart the different layers and look for the wax, gently remove the wax, re-assemble and then see if it is working.
