I need a wireless network set up in Tenerife. Can anyone help?

Halo again. I have a wireless router that was supplied from telefonica, when the fires were on a couple of weeks ago i switched my computer on but nothing happened regarding connection to the net. I played around for a while, and have now lost the wireless connection. I can get connected through using a cable, but really need the wireless to work. I also would like a wireless network set up too. Could anyone give me an idea on how much this would cost to do. And is there anyone out there who can do this?

Thanks Kath.

If your router is a Xavi Inalambrico 7868R (see underside of router) - this is the latest? router issued by Telefonica; then there is a light on the front marked WLAN (wireless LAN) - it should be green. The router by default (when turned off) doesn't turn on the wireless bit. There is a small hole in the back of this router, push a pin in the hole (and remove it!) - this turns on the wireless.

You will also have to make sure your computer is still wireless enabled and you have installed the correct WEP code from the base of your router.

If you need any further help please let me know. Where aboutabouts are you?
