I have been posting here a bit pre my holiday in Tenerife (got back last friday). I had an awful time, not because of Tenerife, the weather was lovely and all. My fella of 13 yrs with whom I have a 12 yr old daughter with decided to end our relationship before the holiday (but didn't tell me) and made our stay a nightmare. Then no sooner had we landed back in Manchester he told me he didn't love me anymore and we are now splitting up. It's come like a bolt out of the blue. Sorry, I probably shouldn't have posted this, my head is all over the place at the moment.
oh punch, so sorry to hear that....i know you must be devasted now..it is fine if you want to post it, this is what we are all here for as well, not only to give advice which we maybe can't really in your situation right now, but at least to listen while you try to vent....no worries, and if you want, just pm me....

really sorry to hear that! and there will be little I can say that will make you feel better... however just remember that we are all here for you on here.
Just out of interest, were you married, and did he give you a good reason? I know it's still not nice, but sometimes it's harder to accept if you can't understand why... at least then you can cry, get angry, then get over it quicker...
I really feel for your daughter... is she handling it ok?

thats an awful thing to happen, and, may I say, as a bloke, we're not all bad, although at the minute I suspect you may well feel all men are the scum of the earth, its a particularly horrible thing to happen, that has not only knocked your life for six but obviously ruined your holiday into the bargain, there was no need for you to be treat like that, I hope you don't always associate Tenerife with bad memories, if there is any chance at all you could get back to tenerife sometime I'm sure the girls who have already posted would ensure you had a better time, good luck with whatever you do and don't give up

im sooo sorry to hear about that, as everyone has said we will read and help as much as we can so yuo can let everything out, and (starting to sound like an stuch cd, lol) dont give up on tenerife, you should arrange another holiday with your daughter and have a girls week or something, maybe come out with your bst friend and we can all show you what tenerife is really like , dont give up though, men can be such scum, but think of it like this, it is his loss, xxxx
