Anyone know where I can get a set of drain rods in the Souith? There is a communal drain which regularly blocks, and I can't afford to keep calling out the drain-man every time it does.

There is no community on the street where I live and some of the neighbours are less than co-operative when the problem doesn't directly affect them, but others 'down the line' so to speak.

I've already tried Big Mat and the local ferretria at Adeje.

Thanks for the responses so far. @helhod has kindly offered to lend a set some for my immediate crisis, but I will try both outlets for a longer-term solution.

Chafiras at Las Chafiras is scandously priced. Typical example was hubby bought something (can't remember what) for 19 euros last week. He went to buy the same thing again yesterday and they wanted 30 euros. He went to the 'old' chafiras in Las Galletas and got the same thing for 10 euros. Hubby says he's not 100 per cent they sell what you are looking for, but try Bolsas de Agua in Las Chafiras, much cheaper

Thanks to @helhod, I now know the drain under my property is completely clear.

So now to call on my neighbours to get their bottoms into gear..
