Fiestas del Carmen in Tenerife

When we went to tenerife in 2005, we saw this in los christianos at the begining of september does this occur every year, we were told it was the fishermen thanking the sea for the fish they have caught. My husband enjoyed it and wants to see it again.

It's on this year, but according to this website the exact dates in September aren't available yet.

Not sure of its name but there is a Fiesta in LC big night is first Saturday in Sept Second Saturday it is Los Abrigos wth Fireworks Third Sat is El Medano again with Statues & Fireworks at least this is how the system is meant to work

Not been to LC but both Abrigos & Medano are brilliant dancing usually finishs about 5 or 6 in the morning

Ester in Medano tourist office should be able to confirm
