Are the guys with the Parrots still taking photographs in Tenerife?

Just wondering if the blokes with the parrots still walk around charging people for pics with the birds and if they do is it legal ?

I know they are still active in Puerto de la Cruz, but not seen any down south. As for them being legal the police never seem to bother them so I would imagine they are.

I saw some a couple of weeks ago by the Royal Garden restaurant by the sea in Las Americas. Weren't too much of a nuisance but I did feel sorry for the parrots

My Mood:
they always try to plonk a parrot upside down "like a baby" in my grand daughter's arms - I hate that - I wont let her hold it like that - they shouldnt be upside down like that!!! Such beautiful birds, it's a sin. I'm not really a bird fan but I think they should be flying free not harrassed by humans squealing with delight or fear whichever they feel.

They were at the bottom of the hill by the shopping centre when I was there in February, and at a few other areas around the town.

Not sure if they're legal or not.
