Question Where can I buy a large water capacity tank for my house in Tenerife?

Hi Guys,

I have a house which has 3 bathrooms and the challenge I'm having is when I have guests and more than one bathroom is in use, the total hot water suppy gets used, and then take hours to reheat.

It has been suggested that either,

I get a hot water tank for each bathroom or

install a bigger capacity tank.

The tank I have does not have a size on it but does have the numbers 50 which might mean it's 50 litres. This appears to be a standard size.

Does anyone know where I can get a bigger capacity tank, and someone who would fit it, as this appear to be the quickest and cheapest option of the two.

Or does anyone know anyone who will fit another tank for the other bathroom?

Your thoughts please guys

Jolly Roger

Same places as your blinds..... a larger capacity tank is only 20 or so Euros more as you are only paying for the metal the element etc are there already.. go and look both have a large section but measure the height where its going first....

Try PMing black & white if he can'y do it he will know someone that can.

As for hours to heat up, you probably need to replace the boiler, not long after mine started taking an age to heat up it broke down completly.

Le Roy Merlin have a wide range of water tanks. 50lt is far too small for a three bath room apt, I have two bathrooms with 80lt tank and it just about does the job you probably need to double the capacity ie 100lt tank Le Roy Merlin are very good on price, also try STUBS for fitting the tank Martin and Calvin are very good ang quite reasonable they are based in San Blas.

I'm sorry... but why don't you just get a gas boiler? that way the water's heated as you need it... less waste & continual hot water. It works for us...
