I'm coming to Tenerife in 2 weeks, are there any jazz clubs in Playa de las Americas?
I am coming to Tenerife in 2 weeks,can't wait,I had an email from a friend who says the jaz clubs closed,my other half will be disappointed,is there anywhere else in Las Americas for jaz?Also hows the weather is it as hot as the UK,its been 75 today.Every time I look at the weather for Tenerife on the net it says showers or rain.Olly

What about Jazzissimo? It's one of the top jazz clubs on the island, but it also play soul, motown, etc. Recently shut for renovation but open again and it looks great! In case anyone thinks its still closed, trust me, it's open, I have a job there!
It's inauguration was on the 6th of this month. Thursday to Monday 10:00pm - 3:30am
If anyone want to know any other info just ask! Jazzissimo Website Look here for directions, etc., but note, I think it's a little outdated. It'll be updated soon I think!

I have to agree with 'cuppycake', (even though she works there and may be slightly bias!), Jazzissimo is a great place to go if you want to have a good dance, or just to sit down and appreciate some great music. The drinks are a teensy bit overpriced, but rest assured it will be a great night. Enjoy.

Or if you can catch her in any of the cabaret bars, Joanne Wenton has an amzing Jazz voice, but doesn't get to sing the songs to the full potential

Nah, I agree the drinks are a tad pricey! lol. I was working there tempo. and i've finished work there now. But it still is a great place!

Ignore the title ... it was posted when the club seemed to have closed down, but as Cuppy says, it's open again now.
