How long should you reasonably wait to pay your bar bill in Tenerife?
Can anyone tell me why we always have to wait a long time to pay your bill at the bar or restaraunt somtimes we feel like walking out to get them to notice
actually in spain you can´t just walk out without paying.
as soon as you order something you are legally obliged to pay for it even if you do not eat or drink it.
proprietors will and often do get the police involved.

Its a cultural thig as far as I am concerned. Restuarant staff rarely just fall from the sky!!! they will have emerged from a culture where eating,,, especially eating out... is done differently and at a much slower pace.
