Laguna Park 1 Apartments, San Eugenio, Tenerife

This will be my first time in Tenerife in Aug 2006 with my family as we normally stay in P/R. Can someone please tell me what the complex is like? I have read as many reviews as possible but they seem a bit out of date.

I have 2 children, 1 boy who will be aged 10 and a girl who will be aged 6. What sort of activites do they put on during the day? What sort of entertainment do they put on at nightime? And one of the most important things, do they have a daily happy hour, 2 drinks for the price of 1 during the day with the obligratory game of bingo. This last question may seem daft to some people but it's the sort of thing that we have been used to for the last 13 yrs so feel a little bit spoilt, and it's nice to get out of the sun for an hour after basking in it all day.

Hi
Laguna park 1 is in a great location. I haven't stayed here, but i did nip in once to use the loo

And i had a look around, it seems a very busy complex for families. Reception is on your right when you go in. Then in the next room as you walk in is a bar and on the wall there was a list of acts that were booked for a night. There is also a games room so plenty of euros would be good. Toilets were on the left here then up the stairs and the pool area is there. That is as far as i got.

The location is great, there are some fantastic bars in and around this area like garfields, snoopys, san euginos, temple bar and pheasant plucker.

There is a shopping centre just near you an underneath it is a large and cheap supermarket.

if you want any more info just ask.

Hi cooperlou,
I haven't stayed at these apts but my friend did as were were next door 'so to speak' at the Atalaya court.

My friend loved the apts she thought that hers were great but she did hear a few people complaining about theres.

they are located up a hill and i mean a hill. But hey walking down is not a problem. Just jump a taxi back up on your way home.
Also you will come across some great bars on your way down. Like garfields, snoopys the temple bar. And the best of all San Euginos which is a fantastic bar.
Also there is a massive shopping centre as San Euginos it is located at the back of the shopping area. There is escalators down to it.
You can get Lira wine for 1 euro a bottle.

i wouldn't worry to much. You have booked a holiday don't think about the accommodation. Just look forward to going to tenerife and the sunshine.

Only 16 more sleeps till i'm back on the reef.

and really handy for the beach at porto colon , just walk down
the path for about 5-10 mins one of the best relaxing hols we had

remember to go to snoopy's pub and meet Jason, Debbie ,Dean,Jesus
it is great fun and very safe at all times

You will probably want to go down to Playa de las Americas
it will cost about 2-3 pounds in the many taxis

Hi Seaward,

Stayed in these apartments. I thought they were basic. Our room wasn't clean. Got there boxing, so a bit of a downer. Moved rooms, it was a bit basic, but clean.

There's a kids' club & happy hour which is good. Excellent area. Good bars opposite apartments. Good Irish bars. My partner is a mad Celtic fan, so it suited him.

Would stay there again. Our daughter loved the kids club. There's plenty for children to do.

Does anybody have any up to date info on these apartments? Have a chance of a week in June but don't know anything about them. Also, don't know the area as we normally stay in Los Cristianos, so any info on that as well would be apreciated.
