Has anyone had a real Sunday Dinner with real meat instead of the cardboard crap I keep getting served with real fresh vegetables. And gravy in a boat not all over the meat. And not out of the microwave - "be careful of the plate it is very hot" - of course its hot its just come out of the microwave - Look at the edges of the cardboard meat - all dark brown & starting to curl. The tinned carrots & frozen bullet peas all dried up with again - the dreaded microwave. I can eat a Birds eye dinner at home I just want a real home cooked Sunday dinner with real meat, carved off a real joint of roast beef Not boiled beef bought in ready sliced. With home made Yorkshire puddings, served fresh from the oven. Married to a Yorkshire man who cooks great puddings there is a lot to live up to. Anyone found this in Tenerife? Or am I going to have to start cooking it myself ? __________________ Catherine | | | 25th April 2007, 16:22 | #2 (permalink) | | Super Tenerifian Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: the worst place in britain (NOT) Gender: Posts: 1,097 | we went out for our sunday dinner last week and it was gorgeous, everything was home cooked, i really hate when some places serve up frozen yorkshires, thats not a proper dinner. i always make homemade puddings, it's the law in our house lol __________________ mollie | | | 25th April 2007, 16:25 | #3 (permalink) | | Super Tenerifian Join Date: Apr 2007 Gender: Posts: 510 | At the start of our second week we always head to The Roast House Carvery in Los Cristianos. It's delish - specially the apple crumble afters. It's down on the beach front where all the old Spanish gents congregate for a natter under the trees. ... Fontana Square I think it may be called. | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Melders For This Useful Post: | | 25th April 2007, 16:32 | #4 (permalink) | | Adonis Pie Man Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: A diet club, Im being force fed cakes. Everything fresh, no packets used and all for 10 euros I think it is. __________________ Do you need anything translating into Spanish?
