Question Does anybody know what day Las Zocas school will be holding their annual Romeria?

Does anybody out there have an idea on what day Las Zocas will be holding there annual Romeria.

It's usually around the 30th May Dia del Canarias, last year at the last minute they changed the day to a Saturday. I need to plan for a day off work.

For anyone who's child attends the Las Zocas school and has not participated before, it is not conpulsary but the kids get dressed up in traditional Canarian dress.

You can purchase these costumes cheaply in Ponce 99 and more expensive in the uniform shops and El Kilo.

Also don't forget that you are required to bring food on the day, traditional canarian dishes are the usual.

Hi there Mummy Moon,
Sorry but i don't think we've been informed of the actual date yet, if i get any information i'll let you know. It was our first time last year and we loved it, can't wait for the next one. Are the costumes available to buy now or will i have to wait a little longer, we borrowed one last year which was brilliant but unfortunately i don't think it will fit this year. I'd much rather get it early rather than running around at the last minute.

I think you can get them know, not had chance to look in the shops yet, will be doing next week after pay day.

If you're not aware I'm the lady who sells the school uniform, if you ever need anything I sell it at the school on a friday morning ( when it's not closed or doing some festivity!) or I do deliver personally.

I did canarian chicken last year which went down well, what's your take on Gofio? did you try any last time.

The biscottio is lovley if you get chance to try any, sort of chocolate cream and biscuit mess really.

'Bizcocho' is actually Spanish for 'Sponge' as in sponge cake, believe it or not!
