Are there any other plane spotters on the Tenerife Forum?
Im also a sad plane spotter, i love watching them coming in and taking off, and found a great place to do it which i will share with you. Golf del Sur, sunningdale village, head into golf del sur, turn left when you see the club la costa new resort board, then first left then first right and park up. Its a holiday resort so there is a pool area, and bar and the planes come in so low or take off right over your head. Its great, nobody questions you and if you have kiddys you can spend the day there.

Another sad plane spotter here. Is there ever anything worth spotting at TFS? When we fly in, virtually all you can see are 737's and A320's.
But I wouldn't mind trying that spot of yours when we are there in September.

Thank goodness im not the only plane spotter lol .. theres a place on the way to medeno you turn left and park up its brill .. i take my camera and come back home load them on to the computer ....and then think what the hell am i doing

I'm not a plane spotter, but i live at the side of the Golf del Sur course, right under the flightpath. Our house is one of the last ones the plane goes over before it hits the runway.!!! We don't have much choice other than to 'spot' them.
From our uptstairs terrace, you can see the lights from the runway at night. I must admit though, even though we've lived here a while, we still look up when something big comes in. My parents will be facinated when they come over later this year.

You could call round and collect Wifie sound her cup of tea and I dont like her getting too excited and she and Emma could discuss knitting or something else Girlie....

As an ex pilot I was interested finding an aero club in Tenerife and have discovered one that is based at the North Airport. It might be worth some of you plane spotters having a trip up there, might get a flight round the island if the members are friendly

Would be delighted to pick Wifie up, maybe we could stick them both at the end of the runway with the camera and we'll go for a round on Golf Del Sur and then a few rounds at the 19th!
