Look what they're teaching your kids in state school in Tenerife...

I had to laugh at this...

At the school I teach at, they use books for Infantil called 'Duendes Magicos' or 'Magic Pixies' in English. Anyway... they have allsorts of cut out, paint, colour, stick, etc etc activities in them and are quite excellent.

Now... one of the teachers gave me a spare set of books for the 3 year olds, as I wanted to give my daughters extra stuff at home - they both love doing school work.

My daughter has chicken pox at the moment, so to keep her busy she's been doing all the card 'makes' that come with the books... colouring, cutting out and sticking stickers all over things...

Anyway, while looking through one of the sets of cards I came across THIS... Now... It's supposed to signify Easter (Semana Santa) but it looks like something else entirely to me! You tell me what you think it looks like...

I know Tenerife's not as Politically Correct as the UK, but I thought this was taking it a bit far...

I think it's the actual costume they have to wear for Semana Santa in church and it has deep religious significance... however the 'line' drawing certainly conjures up other thoughts...

Who are the KKC? is it a political off-shoot of KFC? Colonel Saunders gone ultra right-wing... or did you mean the KKK?

Sorry... I've been giggling about this to myself all day and only just had chance to scan it on.

I keep watching 'whos online' and seeing people looking at this thread then clicking on to Photoblog gallery and giggling to myself as I know they are seeing what I saw....
