My advice is this, and I know what sort of year you've had re your love life.

Go for it, if you feel its right. If you are scared that he will knock you back, then do it subtlety, you girls are good at that.

Drop some hints and see what the response is?

If you never try, how will you know? Do you want to regret it in a few years time and think to yourself what if?

We are living in 2006, not the 1940's. Times have changed. Women can approach men without the man thinking there hussies.

DO IT DO IT...........................You never know, this could be the man of your dreams, your future everything. Is it worth letting this pass you by because you are worried about approaching him?

I nearly bottled asking Sabrina, my wife of 16 years out. I thought she was well out of my league. Thank god I did it beacuse in all that time we have had a couple of happy weeks.

Why not test the water first to see if he likes you and then go for it

I agree, in this day and age, women's equality and all that, yes you should be able to ask a man out without any repercussions. He can only say no, its not the end of the world, many a fine bloke must have been knocked back over the years, so what if a woman gets one now and again? On the other hand it may be absolutely the right thing to do, he maybe waiting for you to make the first move, what if he is extremely shy and thinks you would refuse him? You've got to do it...... so good luck

I agree with everyone so far. If you get the right "vibes" about the guy in question, go for it!

You might get knocked back and it'll be a bruise to your ego, but I can't imagine how many men have been knocked back, but many come back for more...!

Hi Boro gal,

My wife made the first move with me ............... some 32 years ago !!

She was only 17 and I was 22. We had two fab boys early in our marriage and we enjoy each others company now as we did when we first met.

Maybe you should have "gone for it" when you had the chance, but I am sure that another will come along real soon.

All the best and good luck,

BeeKay

Is this true fellas?. Do we not react to hints? Well I think we do, but only when its in our favour. Here is a list of hints you ladies will drop, only to think we don’t take the hint!

Oh blimey, the kitchen is a mess!

Look at that stack of ironing I have to do!

I would love to watch “sleeping in Seattle” tonight but it clashes with the Utd match on Canal+!

I saw this gorgeous diamond ring today, it only costs 2000 euros!

Erm, Barbados for a month looks a nice holiday option, and cheap to. Only 10,000 euros!

My mum would so love to come and spend the weekend!

I heard a funny rattling sound in my car today. Oh by the way, have you seen that Audi TT with the fat alloys that’s for sale?

I have nothing to wear and we have a cocktail party next week.
