can anyone help me i am having problems with my pc everytime i go into start,all programs the programes screen just flashes on and then disapears?

Hi Bazil

Just right mouse click on the Start button, select Properties and check the "Classic Start menu" box.

If that doesn't fix it post again.

can,t right click and get properties it will only bring up the menu as if i have left clicked

in the default version of xp you only need to place the cursor over all programs to open it if you right click to open it you are canceling the auto open function and closing the all programs menu.

also change you´re mouse settings for right and left click to slow it down a bit.

if it is a laptop you are on you maybe using the touch pad inadvertantly as a right click button(touching the pad twice is the same as right click) and you may wan´t to turn this of in the touch pad properties.

if this does not help try another mouse.
