Pretentious Menus... what's yours? :D
As the Xmas Meal thread seems to be taking a turn in the direction of 'frozen food', I thought I'd set up this thread.
My other half is a chef and we often have a laugh and a joke about those really pretentious menus that restaurants put out to try and make their food sound more appetising and upmarket.
So... what have you come across? Put it's real name, then the description
I'll start :
Fish Fingers in breadcrumbs with Chips and Tomato Ketchup
Dedos de pescado en pan rellado with julienne potatoes sauteéd in oil and served with a jus de tomate. delicately seasoned with sea salt, ground black pepper and white wine vinegarette.
