Since arriving in the U.K i have been suffering with pins and needles and cramp in my hands and fingers.At first i thought it was maybe the cold,but should be used to the weather now 2 weeks later.Any ideas?Could it be a salt,vitamin defficiency,or something similar?Its driving me potty,can you help?

If it was cramp you would probably get it in your calf muscles as well, i would be tempted to say circulation or blood pressure both of which are related.Originally Posted by kgbkaz

Pop down to Boots and get it tested! I have high blood pressure and i know when it is high as i get tingling in my hands and fingers but not cramp!

try quinine tablets for the cramp. i have these issues all the time but you know what i've got. doubt its that though. you voted on the new tipsy poll yet?

Sounds like a circulation issue. I would see a doctor if I were you and get your blood pressure checked. You comming back for the Xmas dinner? x

Andy i have suffered cramp,quite badly a few weeks ago in my calf muscles and its more pins and needles than cramp in my hands i suppose and tingling.Never thought of blood pressureJeff yes i have voted,and noticed your vote

Sounds like Circulation to Me.
I reckon it takes 2 to 3 Weeks to Acclimatise properly.
Blood runs thicker the Colder it is.
If concerned I would say visit a Doctor to make sure ...
But, If You have been in a warm Shower or workplace thats warm, does it still Happen ?

As a nurse Kaz I will tell you that your symptoms could be suggestive of quite a few illnesses some major a few minor. I would not begin to tell you what I think it might be. The only person who can tell you is a doctor when they examine you.
SO GET YOUR ASS TO A DOCTOR NOW!
