A good jewellery cleaning tip for Tenerife Forum members!

I soaked real gold & silver jewellery, including a diamond ring in a solution of Fairy Liquid & water last night, it has come out sparklingly clean!

Very economic way of cleaning jewellery!

Yes, it´s a good way to get a sparkle back ... and use an old toothbrush to clean the back of stones in rings to get rid of the grime that builds up

the best stuff for cleaning jewellery is a can of coke as the mild acetic acid will disolve all the dirt and grime without effecting the jewellery

A good jewellery cleaning tip....

Pure gin is even better: soak jewellery for two days..... and no, the gin is not matured and drinkable afterwards! Sorry!

What a waste of GIN. Use a dash of tonic. Better still use Chop Sauce-Ten mins max.
