Hello everyone, i got back yesterday after a 6 hour drive in the car!

It was a really good break, we went to visit my Great Gran and Grandad after not seeing them for about 7 years. We had a really good time with them which was good.

I went on the Helicopter to the Scilly Isles. I tell you what it was a great experience. The helicopter taking off was a bit scary but then it was really good fun. When we arrived in St Marys we got a boat over to St. Martins which was spectacular! On the boat we saw seals and loads of different birds. The beaches there were absolutely beautiful, they were pure white sand. It really was like we went to a different country . The weather was great when we went there too which was nice. I would defiantly recommend the place.

The weather was good for us which was surprising. We had about 2 days that weren't very good but the rest were really nice. However my mum was really ill for one day so we had to stay in.

Overall it was a really good little break and would defiantly go back to the Scilly Isles without a doubt.

Glad you enjoyed yourself, although I have never been to the scilly isles I have been to cornwall many times with the kids when they were small and loved it.....especially Tintagel and Boscastle area. My X was down there when the flooding took place a few years back and his car floated out to sea
I love Trebarwith Strand (please excuse if spelling wrong) too....I think that's my favourite place.
