i am shaking my friend of 24 years killed herself this morning.im in shock .she jumped rom a tower block in southampton .her daughter killed herself 3 years ago she has a 1 year baby another on the way plus 3 others ages 11 to 26 .
I cannot get this round my head

Hel, I am so sorry for you and your friends family.



Also to you 9PLUS for your friend. I had two cousins commit suicide a few years after the death of their sister in a car accident. They just never came to terms with it.

One thing you have to hold onto is at least these people are at peace now, they must have been so tormented by whatever made them do this.

Condolences to you and your friend's family. It is so shocking when a friend takes their own life, as it happened to me. I hadn't been in recent contact with the person who died but it still shook me up to hear of their death, even so many years later.

condolences to her family and friends.But also to you !! to lose a friends in any way is sad but to know they were in a dark place to make them do what she didis even worse !! sounds like she never got over her daughters death , but how sad to leave so many young children behind .

i guess its when you hear of things like this that it makes you look at what we have in life that we grump and complain about . sort of puts things in perspective.
