Help needed with Messenger Live Hotmail

Can anyone please advise?

I keep receiving messages from a friend whilst on Messenger Live that she is not sending. Nor is she online when they are delivered. The message just refers me to a website which has part of my contact address in. My husband is also receiving similar messages from the same contact.

Prior to receiving the message a message flashes on my screen telling me that I have signed in on another computer so I have to resign on again., which is not the case, but I still have to sign in again?????

My son is now receiving these messages from me.

We have all scanned our computers with the anti virus programmes.

Does anyone please have any idea what the problem is & how to deal with it.

When you chose a new password make sure that it has letters and numbers in and is nice and long more than 9. I had a similar problem saying you’ve signed on with another PC, I hadn’t so I changed my password to another short number only password and it carried on happening then I changed it again to letters and numbers and it hasn’t happened since

its a virus that spreads via MSN, DO NOT OPEN THESE MESSAGES HIT THE DELETE/EXIT STRAIGHT AWAY.

if not it will be passed to all of your contacts, let everyone know not to open your messages unless they know it is you, by talking to you.

this has happened with myself. usually starts with someone who does not have anti virus, but will keep coming to you for ages. just keep exiting straight away.

Will try changing my password, not that I can see the connection.

Thanks for the advice, hoping to still receive some more replies.

Same with me..Do not open them as it will then pass on to all your contacts on MSN. Let the contact know that a virus is coming through their MSN..Witzend sorted my comp when i had a Trojan Horse virus come in this way!!!!
