I just want to sleep!

I need some tips on how to sleep.... My mind is playing overtime!!!! I am so silly, to think what I think!!!!! Actually I am not that daft.... just tired from a lack of sleep!

I cant really help as I have been up since 4 (currently at Fleet services M3 ).
To much caffeine or sugary things late evening keep up all night . Then the dog needs to go out at 3 ....

Switch the computer of a bit more and you will sleep better .

My sympathies - had lots of sleeping problems in the past - but nearly over them now. The computer has been a godsend when I can't sleep. I just wish there was a switch in my head so I could stop my brain racing away Writing out a 'balancing list' of the pros & cons of the thing that is bothering me has proved effective on occasions!
Latest addition is a 'Chillow' which keeps my head cool at night! Only had it one week but actually fell asleep reasonably quickly & slept right through the night yesterday
Have found playing soothing music on my ipod helped at times but not every time.
Not happy taking tablets so haven't gone down that route! Suits some people - alcohol seems to wake me up more - milky drink has worked - but not consistently!

whats a Chillow TAKE IT , ITS SOME SORE OF COOLPILLOW?

make a hot choc !! but just a 3rd of a mug but!! with the full amount of choc ie 2/3 spoons then you will go into a deeper sleep

while in bed unable to sleep picture in your minds eye a pair of deep blue velvet curtains try hard to see them then lookfromtop to bottom ! but look hard and deep into the blue curtain . this should help you !!

Poor you! I know exactly how you feel. I haven't slept properly for months and months. There is always something going on in my head. Worrying about this, that or the other! I sympathise so much.

Yesterday I bought a new laptop and then spent nearly 6 hours trying to get it to connect to my wireless router! Would it connect? Would it heck! When I went to bed lastnight I lay there thinking what if I did this, what if I did that, and how should I tell my husband that the new laptop wasn't connecting properly! Nightmare!

I eventually got up and went downstairs to watch the tv! Went to sleep at 6.00am and the kids and hubby woke up at 7.00am to get ready for work!!!!! AAAAARGH!!

I am SOOOOOOO tired!

This is me! You have described me! I lie in bed and things go round in my head, round and round. I toss and turn and end up getting up to make a cup of tea. I just want some sleep!!!!!!

'Chillow' is a cool pillow - you can see it on Amazon - and various other sites if you type the name into the search bar. My sister got me mine because she had been so thrilled with hers! I am very impressed
