On the other hand, I went to bed last night (remember it was our first night back online), wake up this morning, and Mr TB manages to accidentaly download and install Antivirus 2009, which is a bloody pain in the bum.
"How did you do it?" I asks him, "I dunno, it just happened, I don't know" was the reply, now I'm left trying to remove it.
Very annoying as it keeps popping up when I'm online, telling me I have 41 viruses and crashing my firefox.
Anyone know how to remove it from the PC without buying any more anti apyware / adware to use to remove it?
And in case any smarty pants males say just go to the add / remove programmes in the control panel and remove it this way - It aint there!!!
I need another way to remove it please

Our PC spent 10 days in hospital thanks to Antivirus. When we took it in the chap told us that it is a virus in itself. It changed all of our Windows files and we couldn't even access anything to download and save before it went to the shop. But the good bloke sorted it and managed to save all of our files

Was the first thing I tried, but it still came up. Anyway deleted it manually all on me ownsome, thanks to Licinius' link.
