How do you go about watching Movies off your PC on your TV? - Page 3

Unfortunately I don’t have a LCD TV, I know what you’re all thinking
“What you still got the old style LARGE brick TV”
I hope to be getting one soon when they come down in price but I have been saying that for the last 2 years

Sounds as though your graphics cards in both Pc's cant match your TV resolution, you could try changing the resolution in your computers, not sure how old your laptop is, but it may have a separate adjustment for external monitor.

Make sure your tv is set for pal and not ntsc as this can cause you to only see in black and white. Or if you have an Nvidia graphics card, then you should go into the control panel, go to the NVIDIA display settings and under troubleshooting there is a thing that says my TV does not display or my tv is in black or white or something. tick that off if it is ticked and restart your pc and it should work.
