When we are raised in the same family by the same parents, why are we so different?
I am different to my sister and my oh is so different to his brother. Chalk and cheese in some respects. We have different family values as well. We have family values and are family minded they are not.
Why when we have been raised in the same family with the same parents are we so different?

I so agree with what you say, my sister and I are totally chalk and cheese. She looks down on me for being a single parent, and feels that her children are so much better than mine because hers have a 'proper' family!
Everything about us is different, including our looks, she is tall with dark hair and I am short with blond hair!!
Any yet my brother and I are so similar its unreal!!! Similar personalities, we look alike, have similar out look in life.
And like you say, we were all brought up the same, same values, same rules, same parents, how can this happen??

I was the goody two shoes, she was the rebel when we were younger.
Food she likes, I hate and Vice Versa
Music wise she is into Dance, trance, rave music, etc I'm into RnB & Hip Hop.

just because you are from the same parents dont always mean you will be alike !! what a strange world this would be if we were all carbon copies of our bros & sisters remember you are a mixture of your parents genes and their parents so with each child the mix will be different . and i say thank G for that !!

I agree with you, my sister thinks I am a lower person than her because I am on my own, but why does that make me worse than her?? I have far more family values than she has, my children and I work as a close famly, it is important for me to all sit down together to eat dinner, no tv etc etc and yet she feeds the kids infront of the tv and her and her husband eat later??
I have followed more in my parents footsteps of family values

Also... you may all be the creation of your parents and brought up with the same home rules ect, but as a sibling you will learn and grow with others your age, therefore even though you have your family values at heart you will grow your own character, personality and outlook on life... this giving the view that you or your siblings are different and have different views on life. Yet it has been proven that most twins have the same view on life
