When we are raised in the same family by the same parents, why are we so different? - Page 2

well me and my sis are also very different.......I am more like my Mum used to be whereas my sister put all her effort into not being like our Mum, however we absolutely adore eachother.

Sometimes it is difficult when for example when we are trying to organize something.....I am just so unorganized it's untrue but she understands that that's just me and that's the way I am and I'm happy that way. And I accept that she is more highly strung and stresses more and I accommodate that too.....I think it's just a question of balance.

I have always believed something my Mum told the both of us never to forget as long as we live and that was "you'll never have a best friend like your sister" , and she was best friends with my aunty until the day she died.
Now I really feel like my sister is my best friend because even though we hated eachother in our younger years we have reached a point now where we have been through so much together that as sisters we simply love eachother for who we are.

Thats so lovely. I am closer to my brother than my sister. He is like my best friend, I call him when I need to talk and he calls me when he needs to talk, its lovely. What is great is he is moving here in about a week or so!!!!!!

My brother and I are so so different .good explination though.
Both adopted

Still i was the black sheep .But over the last couple of years i have relised he always put me down to cover his own tracks...........

I actually find this a fascinating subject

My father had brown eyes and black hair.

My mother had brown hair and brown eyes.

My sister is 6 years younger that me and is the spitting image of my mother at 'whatever' age you care to chose. We get along, but don't actually have any values that coincide.

Look again at my parent's characteristics. How did they manage to produce a blond haired, blue eyed child ? (Me!)

I am, however, the spitting image of my grandmother (minus the boobs and plus a few other bits

) and I always got on with my grandmother and we thought and behaved in the same way, but not with my mother.

OK - I know what you are thinking

but that isn't a possibility either because my mother was an only child cos my grandmother had to have everything removed following the birth of my mother.

just thought of something my oh was the oldest and went to boarding school he received alot of discipline plus dad was in the army. His brother was the youngest the blue eyed boy so to speak and was treated differently.
