Going over on 21st November for the Ricky Hatton fight. The place is amazing and the people who say they don't fancy it really need to get a bit of sense of adventure because it's a once in a lifetime place,it really is that good!! I'm staying at the MGM Grand this time but have stayed at The Luxor and Bellagio before now.Pretty much every hotel is like a holiday in itself and there is so much to do day and night!!

You really do need to get away from Spain?TFS once in a while!

I have been to New York and Los Angeles thank you very much.

Went to Atlantic City which is like a mini version of Las Vegas and thought that it was full of wierd rich old American's with nothing better to do than sit all day at a fruit machine. You do see some sights though (although they probably thought that when they saw me)

Okay fair enough Chip. I suppose the only way to know is to go for yourself.

It is just that I have heard that Vegas is just like San Isidro but bigger and with brighter lights. The whole town is built around the main drag with only desert either side.

Maybe this view was wrong (by the way it was your mate Andy R.O. who said it to me)

Its a true saying that if you can dream it then in Vegas you can do it...I have fulfilled soooooo many of my lifes ambitions there, helicopter ride down the strip, the Grand Canyon, sky-diving with Mike Carlton, seeing Elton John in concert and winning a shed load of money.

Vegas is Disneyland for adults and people who have been will tell you its very hard to describe because everything is so MASSIVE words cannot create the real picture as it has to be seen to be believed...I once spent 9 hours walking around the Venetian Hotel including taking a Gondola ride on the 1ST FLOOR !!!

It is so cheap when you are there you can eat and drink for nothing and you can literally gamble for hours with just 100 dollars...you win and lose but ALWAYS have fun...Its only cost me 700 euros for a direct return flight and accommodation is just 28 dollars per room per night (now do you understand why Tenerife is not as busy)......

I would love to hear from anybody else who has been to Vegas...tell us of your experience and is there anybody who dreams of going....trust me you won't be disappointed.
America was the last place I wanted to go on holiday. Thank goodness my Partner persuaded me to go. Vegas fantastic seeing is not believing, you can not describe Vegas, you will never forget Vegas. This was a holiday of a life time, altho we only spent 3 days in Vegas it was a part of our American adventure I will never forget.

Is it possible for a man not to be a prat?? I don't think so.....My theory is it's a faulty gene or something that only affects men!!

Oh yes, this is my dream holiday too. Are you flying back to the UK and doing a return flight from there? If not, where would you recommend flying to, to get a good connection and reasonable price.
Any info on this will be very much appreciated.

Also, is there ever a bad time of year to go to Vegas? as in weather/ overcrowded/ or just dammed expensive?
Thanks again.
