What are Tenerife Forum members' views on the Fathers for Justice movement?

Ok people look at the time of this post, this is 100% serious & not a wind up. I've had a very interesting night tonight & have already emailed the above organisation with information that I feel substantiates what they stand for.

If things progress how I think they are going to, then I will become an activist for Fathers for Justice so please give me your honest EDUCATED opinion of the organistation. Please refrain from statements such as "they're all nutters, shoot them" (and before anyone says owt yes I know I'm the worst for stereotyping folks).

Just be fair & say not only what you think, but why you think it.

Just to give you an insight, if a woman makes an allegation against a father then REGARDLESS of any other evidence (in my case secret video recordings made on my phone) then the police WILL act on the orginal allegation REGARDLESS of any other evidence.

On a lighter note, what outfit do you think I should wear?

i agree with them totally, i think its very biased towards the women in all matters where kids are concerned. agreed, a lot of kids need protecting but there are a lot of good dads out there who are victimised because of evil women.

oh, and more importantly, its GOT to be spiderman..

I agree with what they stand for, but not always how they make their point. a friend of mine was married to a woman who took him for everything and he now only sees his daughter once a year.

Hoe about gressing as the Hulk/ topical and only requies some green paint and scruffy board shorts. If you dont want to dress up you could go as Bruce Banner

In my opinion they are VERY motivated individuals, who have a point.

Their protests are peaceful, and aimed to give the highest level of publicity to a worthwhile subject.

If I was ever in the position where I was restricted or prevented from seeing my kids, I would join them without a moments hesitation.

Aren't these the people who planned to kidnap Tony Blair's kid? Yes, fathers often have a tough time seeing kids after a divorce and even more often women have a very tough time getting any maintenance or achieving any reasonable standard of living when the ex partner starts another family.

From their own website - "Dozens of staff were evacuated from a family court in a Fathers 4 Justice protest in Bristol. The group stormed the building and a fire alarm was set off" - not very peaceful

I sort of agree with this but I don't agree with some of the ways they protests

Throughout the years I have seen many a broken man from the evil of a woman yet on the other hand I have seen what a man can equally do to a woman and his children

I could tell you so many stories that will anger you (as they have me) and the worst thing ever... is facing the coroner courts when you know they were innocent

Licinius a bit of advice for you whenever you have contact with this person write the time, date, your location, what has been said and always how it made you feel This hand in hand with recordings goes a long, long way

Why don't you just go as a respectable father that would be noticed more than batman and his friends

And what about Mothers for justice????? I had a hard time from my ex, stories that you just wouldnt believe a father was capable of doing to the mother of his children. He told me once that he would 'batter me down until I could get up no more' Well he gave that a bloody good go You say that the police act on allegations regardless of proof, believe me they do it to mothers too... Arrest them, lock them in a police cell and THEN check the evidence and CCTV cameras

I personally think that Fathers for Justice go about it the wrong way. I do realise that there are some mothers out there that go all out to not let the fathers see their children and thats wrong, but the things that the fathers for justice have done does not make it right.

In my opinion, just be careful
