I need to let off some steam!!!
Ok rant time!!!!

I have been ill over the weekend, been in bed, not been well enough to get out of bed, hence why I have not been on the forum much (anyone miss me??!!)

Anyway, someone, wont mention names but very close to me rang me on Saturday morning and said 'oh have I woken you up?' No I replied I am ill and have been in bed all of yesterday. 'OK we wont come and see you as we dont want to catch it' was their reply, not any offer of help with my kids, or helping me etc etc

Then this morning they rang again and had a go at me for still being in bed ill I asked if they could pick up my daughter from Palm Mar as I didnt feel well enough to drive, but they couldnt as they have had a hectic week and were chiling out for the day.

I am on my own, I rarely ask for help, and this really gets me down..

Ok sorry rant over, back to bed, hope to be well enough to catch up with you all soon

If anyone wants to come and look after me.........

I would gladly pick her up for you if I wasn't 45 mins drive away. It sounds to me like these people, whoever they are, are not really your friends, so I wouldn't worry about it

Just keep it in the memory bank for the next time they ask YOU to go out of your way or do something

At least you have the forum to let you vent off steam. It always makes me feel better to have a rant every so often ( the wife says too often!!!)

Hey Gracey, sorry you are ill, I am also not to good and in bed myself otherwise I would gladly pick your daughter up. What about your parents, or is this who you are talking about Hope you feel better very soon, you dont seem to have been in tiptop condition for a while now! Check it out
