Who's going on holiday this year and where?

Hi everyone, just wondering if any forum members are having a holiday this year and if yes where to!!?? We are hoping to go to Fuerteventura for 2 weeks just for a quiet break with the kids!!

We are over for 2 weeks starting 9th september. £300 each which includes flights, transfers and self catering apartment.. Cant wait

I know this year is difficult Alphyra, at least you have last year to look back on I would love to take my girls there but too expensive!! Oh for that illusive lottery win!!!

we went even though we could ill afford it but as my son was 14 we thought it would be the last time as a family we would be able to do it. Maybe not a wise choice money wise but great memory wise

I can imagine, I have looked at it online so may times and just can't quite afford it!! Maybe next year!! I've been saying that for about 4 years now!!!!

break the bank, go without food and clothes for a year, and book it

We have been twice and its great. Both times we went back to the UK and flew with travelcity as they have the best prices. Flying from here was a no-no, far too many hours and far too many euro's

we are trying sharm el sheikh for the first time sept 8th to 18th £1260 all inc for the 2 of us
first time with all inc as well
then 4 days in prague 30/10 to 2/11 to see QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS at the O2 arena PRAGUE
£60 return flights and £75 each for a suite at hotel and £49 for our tickets so £184 each should be a good trip 8 of us going
so this credit crunch is really starting to hit home

mind next year we have to do barcelona for a friends 50th and then go to spain to squat at a friends new house out there.
then either la siesta/bouganville playa/spring hotel bitacora or other nice hotel the next year as i dont like to go too long without visiting tenerife

Don't tempt me Alphyra!! So may times my finger has been hovering over the "book it" bit on the website!! Unfortunately my head overules my heart everytime!!
