Ditto. Once the trust is gone, the relationship has had it. Tell them you want some time. When they ask how long, tell them to give you a couple of years to think about things... No need for anything spiteful or vengeful, as they may have some brilliant qualities as a person, such as raising a child, or being a teacher, or whatever. As well as that, you never know what the future holds. You may end up getting back with them some time down the line, or at least being friends with them. Dave.

It's not the sex (or whatever) as such - it's about the trust, honesty and commitment.
How do you know to trust somebody? How do you know if they're committed to you? For me one thing sums it up & thats feeling wanted. If somebody's face lights up as I walk through the door, then theres nothing to worry about. If I walk in to grumbles of "oh god are you back already" then theres nothing worth trusting. If she doesn't 'want' me then she's free to go find whoever she does want.
