I go into Oxfam all the time, and find some real bargains. I give a lot of stuff to charity shops and am quite happy to shop in them too

Since I was a young lad I could never understand " label heads " not that charity shop stuff is not quality but if it covers my @?se and looks presentable,I would say where I bought it

I use the same shop and have often been complemented on what I'm wearing and always admit it came from the Lions shop! People are always surprised! You can get lots of bargains if you search around, not just clothes but bric-a-brac, bags, sunglasses, books and all sorts. Also, even if you wear/use something only once it hasn't cost you much!!

we went to lions do saturday night. had a great time. our table all bought our dresses there for the night. i must say we were the best dress ladies there. 15 euro for the 3 dress. my friends will kill me.

I really miss decent second hand shops i used to go to Winchester and Lymington on my days off and get some great bargains ..

My exwife took my Prada jeans which had been worn only twice (along with other expensive items) to a local charity shop when we split up so why not, there are obviously some great bargains to be had

I would never buy clothes from a second hand shop.Rifling through dustbins is more of my kinda gig.
