It's brilliant. I use it for my UK account, offshore accounts and Tenerife account.

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

I have been doing it for six years, bettyboo,

at least.

At the time I started, I managed to get to my bank on Thursday afternoons only. Now it does not matter to me if and when by bank is open. I transfer money online and check my account online and if I need money I use the cache machine.

No need for queuing anymore.

I have had no problems with online banking for at least ten years, both here and the UK. As Rainer says, it beats the sh*t out of queueing, especially here.

Not sure what you mean by transferring back Just because you sign up to online banking doesn't mean that you can't manage your account in exactly the same way as you are doing now if you wish, - you are able to do both.
I have used online banking for as long as I can remember & in my experience it has never been anything than 100% safe. Just give your bank a ring or call in & ask them how you sign up for it.

Unless you open a new 'online' only account, it is an extra service in addition to branch service - so you would just stop using it

Ive do all my banking online and have done for years wouldn't do without it, I have never had very little trouble with it! I work very long hours and it is convenient as I can never guarentee that I can get to the actual bank itself and if you have a problem you can contact customer services and they sort it straight away! Would certainly recommend it to anyone.
