Unhappy Can anyone recommend a late night pickup car hire company at Birmingham Airport?
Help! Can anyone recommend a Car Rental Company in the Birmingham area.

Our problem is that our flight lands at 00.30 hours - all the main operators do not appear to have a car supply facility at this time in the morning.

We used Hertz at Gatwick when we arrived in the middle of the night last year.

I have just tried their website & it appears that you can book a car at Birmingham for 01.30 pick up but without going through the whole thing - couldn't be sure!

I have used carhire3000 at Birmingham in June last year and they left the car keys with either Avis or Hertz. Booked basic Corsa for two and a half weeks and ended up with two month old Mercedes C180 auto for no extra money. Probably never happen again though.

We will probably use them again at Manchester at the end of this month as we land at 0010 and their prices are very competitive.

car hire
we just used carhire3000 last week when we flew late into manchester and collected the keys from avis no probs. we booked a group a car but got upgraded to a ford focus estate (whatever group that is)

easy to book online and good service will probably use them again next time

Many thanks to tenerifeteddy, videoman and jwebh.

We have contacted the companies mentioned but to no avail. Hertz stated they do not have a facility at Birmingham at that time of the night and carhire3000 state that they have no vehicles!!

Not to worry, we have arranged a pick up by family from the airport.

Just returned from our holiday in UK and Madeira.

Loobie came up with the goods and more!!

Met us with the hire car at 00.30 in streaming rain and a big smile on her face.

The car was first class and very reasonably priced.

What a Superstar!!!!!
