Do Tenerife Forum members think bigger companies are tighter?

The bigger the company the tighter they am?

Everything-wages,way yiour treated,perks,ask for your input then dont listen to you,never want to spend money on equipment products etc at the end of day all they see is money in till we are just a number

I agree with you in some ways, thats why i've been self-employed for 30 years. I have worked for companies before but i always speak my mind so usually fall out with the boss's, went on my own no boss no problems. I love the independence of been on my own.

It stands to reason to a certain extent that a smaller company would listen and maybe value your opinion more.

If you work for a company with 10 employees then you represent 10% of the workforce.

If you work for one with 100 employees then you represent 1% of the workforce.

If you work for one with 1000 employees then you represent 0.1% of the workforce.

Bigger the company, the smaller your voice unless your the boss.

Well without the people working for them they wouldnt be on such a large wage,and when folk say no one is indispensable[ spelling???] i disagree.The assistant manager who also was the cook was off work for 5 months and the buisness lost all trade,we had about 3 cooks while she was off all failed to cook to her standards.
