Which gigs have Tenerife Forum members been too that have been a disappointment?

After the recent coments about the ledgendary Chuck Berry, i have this thought.
How many acts, artists or bands have you paid to see, and found them totally dissapointing or well past their sell by date?
Some of them never know when to call it a day.
Recent cringeworthy performances that i have seen and fortunately have not paid for have been, Freddie Star. Liza Minnelli, and in my oppinion the forgettable Ricky Gervais. He couldnt ad-lib his way out of a paper bag.
Maybe a good actor but "know your limit"!
That is not including football!!as this thread would never end.

My brother is in a club duo, I remember them suppporting Freddie Starr at the York Barbican Theatre about 12 years ago. They said he was a complete prat, and totally up his own a******e!!!!! His appearance on celebrity wife swap recently confirmed this. What a git!!!

We have just been to see The Eagles live at the O2 in London. I was not that keen on going but having been I am sold.

They were fantastic; they were on stage for over two and a half hours and had the crowd spellbound for the whole time.

Their new double album 'Long Road out of Eden' is a classic.

True Super Stars. They haven't lost their appeal!

One guy i did see a couple of months ago and was quite suprised was, Joe Brown!
I think he has been in a time warp, he looked exactly the same as he did when i saw him in Swansea in 1966 and it was only five bob then, £18 this time round.
For the newbies that would be 25p or 35cents.
And he still looked and sounded good.

Hate to admit it, but I was resident singer in a club in Swansea , mini-skirt, bouffant hair + all when Joe Brown did a week there. He was brilliant all week, nice guy too. Many great cabarets around then, Matt monroe was perfection, The Searchers, so proffessional, later on Lenny Henry had a great 45minute spot, trouble was he had to do an hour! Did anyone see Michael Jackson here in Tenerife about 16 years ago? Great show.
