Help With Indesit washer/dryer please

before i make a fool of myself and cost us more money, does anyone in the uk own one of these machines?

we had one delivered today while i was at work, electrician charged us £40.00 to disconnect our old one and £50.00 to connect this one. it's filled with water and it won't drain, i've followed the trouble shooting guide and nothing works? does anyone have any ideas please?

the led light was flashing earlier. the instruction guide said that if this happens, turn if off for 40 seconds and then on again. it's not flashing now but it still won't drain

thanks in advance

Sometimes when the washers dont empty, it means the outlet hose has either got a kink in it or the height of the outlet is too high.

Try pulling the washer out and see what happens. If it drains, there was a kink, if not lower the outlet hose and try draining into a bucket.

Let me know what happens.

Those charges are outrageous even for rip-off UK! You need to get on to the retailers you bought from ASAP.
I had to get a new machine about a week ago and bought an Ariston - which is a Hotpoint I was told. I was going to pay the extra for an Indesit, but was told in the showroom this was also a Hotpoint!
Sorry, not much help Jackie! Hope it all gets sorted for you.
