lunar eclipse for early hours tomorrow morning,partial eclipse 0143gmt,total eclipse 0301gmt, in a partial eclipse the earths shadow,or umbra, appears to take a "bite" out of the moon. lets hope it,s a clear night ,last years eclipse was awesome

i am gonna set my alarm i have just bought a book called simple stargazing by anton vamplew as up here the stars are brilliant you just have to wrap up warm so cold out,
not been the best of days today i,m afraid, cloud cover all day and doesn,t look like clearing ,anyone up above the cloud line here ? can you do the photo,s? i remember the eclipse in august last year and the sky was so clear and i got some good snaps. hopefully torrenter may be able to get some although not sure he will be able to.heres hoping anywayhappy sky gazing folks
