What's the chance of this happening?
Lying here on my sick-bed today, I thought I'd cheer myself up and have a flutter on the National Lottery Thunderball, so I bought a lucky dip on line.

My numbers are 6, 9, 21, 27, 30 and 6 for the thunderball.

Imagine my surprise, (and horror ), when the numbers drawn were
7, 10, 22, 28, 31 and 7?!?!?!?!?

What do you reckon the odds of that happening are?

My Sister has the same luck, apparently your more likely to win the lottery than be struck by lightening. Her husband was hit by fork lightening whilst on the golf course (thankfully, he survived!!)

My Dad won the jackpot on the pools once, then found out my Mother hadn't posted the coupon, needless to say he didn't speak to her for weeks after.
