Thumbs up My Hols! An itinerary of my upcoming trip to the UK and mainland Spain.
Well although a tad vain I thought I would do a report on my hols next week if anyone is interested. I am going to a few concerts and football matches and plan to do a blog style post with photos on this site, like a rolling diary.

Sat. Morn. early hours fly to Gatwick
Sat 16th : Going up town (near Oxford Street, London) to see The Lizard Kings Band (Aussie ex-Tenerife)
Sun 17th : Aldershot vs Stevenage (Conference match, my ex-local side)
Tues 19th : Concert - Amy Macdonald at Sheperds Bush, London
Wed 20th : Arsenal v AC Milan - Champions League
Fri 22nd : Concert - The Cult
Sat 23rd : Fly to Madrid - Train to Salamanca - Punk Concert to see amongst others Tenerife Punk outfit and my friends "Oi! Se Arma"
Sun 24th : Salamanca vs CD Tenerife (Meeting 60 other Tenerife fans)
Fly back Midnight Sunday to Tenerife - Monday morning - Work

Went to see The Lizard Kings in London last night and they were fantastic!
Aussie was on good form as ever and he is coming back to Tenerife soon to live which is great news for all live music fans.

Freezing cold, really really freezing. You do forget what cold actually is when you live in The Canaries, atleast it is sunny at the moment.

The Lizard Kings currently play at O'Niells Pub in Wardour Street (in the middle of China Town) every Saturday night and the venue was huge set on three different levels the top room in the "Music Room" where the bands play.
The place was totally packed and they loved the band. The fav songs being Kieser Chiefs "Ruby" and The Proclaimers "500 miles" (why this song is still popular I do not know)

The tubes all shut down just after midnight (ridicolous really when you think that most pubs and Clubs are open later now) so we legged it and just managed to catch the last tube and the train at Waterloo.
London is so busy it is amazing.
